I'm working on a utility box on the northwest corner of Wilshire and Wilton this week. I put it off for weeks first because of bad weather then because the studio was busy and then because it's hard to pack everything out onto the sidewalk. But once I did, it's the best ever work. Friday a work truck pulled up and asked if I could use a pack of shop towels (yes!) Today I got a Sprite. Don't usually drink that but it was delicious. And I haven't even started painting. Many folks at this point thing I'm doing graffiti clean up maybe as a volunteer or community service. The boxes need some arduous prep before they can be painted but I'm ready to go.
