I had a chance to do another house painting. This is an amazing green colored house in East Aurora New York. I tried to do an iMovie of my progress. This would work much better is I had a rectangular format instead if a square but it's fun to see the painting come together. It's not quite done. Will post the finished painting when I get back to the studio.

It doesn't take much to decide to put some paint to canvas. I hadn't planned to work but when I had an hour or so I got our my favorite bottles and this is what I got!

When I went to East Aurora over Thanksgiving I celebrated the holiday with my daughter Ashely and  her fiancé Scott. Scott's extended family is from this suburb and this is a painting of the family house where his mom grew up.

Bridgeport Courthouse

There's a beautiful historic courthouse building in Bridgeport that dates back to 1885. A great subject for a painting. This is in progress.

Announcing a four week Life Painting Workshop starting on October 11 from 5:30-9:30pm.

A 2 day painting

I've been wanting to concentrate on paintings from reference photos I took earlier in the year. Here's day 1.

And I came back today and worked into it more. I always see Edward Hopper when looking straight from the street like this. I'm not sure it's finished but will let it rest for the week end.
